BE KIDS Sattvic Coconut Bliss Balls

Today at Bridge and Enrich Society I had a ton of fun making sweet, sticky and healthy coconut bliss balls.

We explored cracking a mature coconut, smelling its sweet fragrance, feeling it’s hairy exterior, hearing the crack of the shell, and tasting it’s creamy fruit and refreshing water.

It was also fun to learn that in the Vedic culture the coconut tree is called “tree of life” because each part of the tree has a significant use. The fruit is also the most common offerings in temples. In ancient times the coconut began to be used in rituals to follow the virtue of Ahimsa, non-violence and compassion.

Sharing in these cookies, we are able to honour our divine self with nature’s pure creation
